I, Asel Sagynbay, In 2014 entered Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) to study Economics. I completed my bachelor’s degree in 2018 and continued my studies in the dual-degree master’s program between KazNU and the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), demonstrating strong academic commitment and excellent performance. In 2022, I entered the PhD program in Economics at Al-Farabi KazNU. My doctoral research focused on regional socio-economic development, income inequality, poverty, household welfare, and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in strengthening social stability. My academic portfolio includes 3 publications in KKSON-recognized journals, 5 conference papers, and 1 Scopus-indexed article. Currently, I am working as a lecturer at the Department of Economics at the Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU. Alongside teaching, I contribute to the research project AP23489032, where I engage in analytical work related to regional inequality and socio- economic resilience. I teach in Kazakh, Russian, and English and hold an IELTS certificate. Throughout my professional career, I have established myself as a responsible, motivated, and proactive academic. I demonstrate strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a high level of professionalism in both teaching and research activities. My long-term goal is to continue contributing to economic science and to support the development of evidence-based socio-economic policies in Kazakhstan.
